Founded by Rory Birkbeck and Aaron Sinclair, it also powers Samsung New Zealand kid-safe devices, co-created The Worst Children's Library exhibit with Samsung, and partners with Surfguard Africa.

Bark

Bark is a subscription parental-control platform that alerts parents to concerning texts, email, and social activity, with optional Phone, Watch, Home, and Sync hardware; the Watch was rebuilt on Samsung's Galaxy Watch8 in 2026. Brian Bason built it so families can get insight without reading every message.

Clearplay

Clearplay is a Chrome extension for Windows and Mac computers that skips or mutes violence, language, and sexual content in real time on Amazon, Apple TV, Disney+, HBO Max, and Netflix. Filtering requires ad-free subscription tiers — including a paid ad-free add-on for Amazon Prime — and is designed and supported for use in the United States only. Founded in 1998 by brothers Matt and Lee Jarman, Clearplay helped pass the Family Movie Act of 2005 and states it will not build phone, smart-TV, or streaming-box apps because those environments would require an unauthorized copy of the stream.

Tech Lockdown

Multi-layered DNS content filtering platform with bypass prevention tools and an Apple Device Config Generator, now adding opt-in Mobile Device Management (Remote Supervision, early access) for real-time, remotely-enforced restrictions on Apple devices, plus early-access application blocking that stops unsupported browsers from opening on a Mac; paired with the sibling iOS app LivingRoom for Families — screenshot-based monitoring with automatic nudity detection — operated separately under LivingRoom App LLC. Founded by Ben Bozzay, a Christian developer who built it as a practical tool for freedom from pornography and digital addiction.

VidAngel is a subscription-based streaming filter that connects to Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV+, Peacock, Paramount+, and Amazon add-on channels so families can skip or mute profanity, nudity, violence, and other scenes. Content Guides preview what a title contains before you press play; Jeremy Lewis has led the separate filtering company as CEO since March 2025, after Bill Aho retired that year.
