Editors Notes

Formerly known as StoreHouse. Rebranded to ChurchSoftware. Old domain (storehouseapp.com) still hosts some pages including the AI chatbot feature. About page moved from /about-us to /about.

If you've ever wished your church could have the same caliber of management tools as the megachurch down the road — without the megachurch budget — ChurchSoftware (formerly StoreHouse) was built with you in mind. This all-in-one church management platform offers people management, online giving, accounting, worship planning, volunteer scheduling, kids check-in, event registration, small groups, email communication, custom forms, and a sermon library — and their core platform is completely free for every 501(c)3 organization.^1

Based in Longview, Texas and led by CEO Chris McNabb and Product Manager Eric Leija, ChurchSoftware was born from firsthand experience on church staffs and in church plants where great tools were out of reach financially. As their about page puts it: "We believe healthy churches deserve healthy tools. And if we can remove one barrier to ministry, even just a little, that's worth everything."^2 The platform is available in eight languages — English, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, French, Hindi, Korean, and Filipino — serving a potential audience of over 3.7 billion people worldwide.^3

ChurchSoftware also includes an AI-powered Pastoral Care Bot ("Joe the Bot") designed to intelligently connect church members with the right ministry based on their needs, while maintaining clear boundaries — it routes people to real human care rather than attempting to provide pastoral counsel itself.^4 The team of nine includes a dedicated CISO for security and a Chief Architect, bringing enterprise-grade expertise to church-sized budgets.^2
