If you're looking for a way to slow down and draw closer to God through guided meditation rooted in Scripture, Reflect: Christian Mindfulness offers a gentle, unhurried space to do just that. Built by Neill Bowler in the UK, this completely free app guides you through biblical meditation, contemplative prayer, lectio divina, and imaginative contemplation — all centered on reflecting on Jesus in silence and stillness.^1

The app is organized into focused sections: Bible reflections that walk you through meditating on specific passages, imaginative contemplation that places you inside scenes from Scripture, meditation basics for newcomers, reflective prayer exercises, lectio divina sessions, stress and anxiety reflections grounded in trusting God, Christmas meditations on the Nativity story, and laments for processing difficult seasons.^2 Each guided audio includes the option to add relaxing background music, and you can customize the length of silences to suit your pace. Meditations can be streamed or downloaded for offline use.^1

Why Christians Love It

"This is one of my favorite apps. When life becomes overwhelming, Reflect reminds me the Lord Jesus is never far away. Excellent Bible passages for meditation and the ability to choose the background music really sets the mood."^2

"I downloaded and tried so many different prayer meditation apps. This is by far the best for what I was looking for! Love the music choices, the fact that the music continues after the final guidance, the ability to control the meditation time during lectio."^2

"I love this app! It allows me to meditate on the Word of God... not just calming practices like breathing techniques and relaxation methods. There are a ton of great passages from the Bible that he reads and lots of time for reflection... the perfect amount, actually."^2
