For anyone who's ever wanted a deeper prayer life but didn't know where to start, Hallow meets you right where you are — on your phone, in your pocket, ready when you are.^1 This Christian prayer and meditation app offers over 10,000 audio-guided sessions spanning contemplative prayer, Lectio Divina, the Rosary, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, daily Mass readings, Bible stories for sleep, Gregorian chant, and much more.^2

While rooted in Catholic tradition — with content developed by experienced theology and spirituality guides and reviewed by bishops, professors, and PhDs — Hallow is built for Christians of all backgrounds seeking peace in Jesus.^3 The app's approach to meditation is distinctly Christian: the goal isn't to empty your mind, but to lift your heart and mind to God, to talk with Him, listen to Him, and recognize His presence with you.^2

Built by Alex Jones, Erich Kerekes, and Alessandro DiSanto — three Notre Dame alumni who left careers at McKinsey and Goldman Sachs after rediscovering the richness of Christian contemplative tradition. Jones, once an atheist, had a profound encounter with God that led him to wonder whether his life's purpose was to help others make their lives holy. Three months later, he quit his job and Hallow was born in 2018.^4

Why Christians Love Hallow: "What I can't quantify is how much this has helped my spiritual formation. I signed up for a trial because I was in RCIA and found myself wanting more. This app, like many other blessings we receive, was much more than I asked. Little chunks of time here and there — it adds up to 30,152 minutes of time, but so much more — ears that can hear, eyes that can see, and a heart that can feel the Holy Spirit. Hallow has helped me along my journey home, and that is a pearl beyond price."^6 Another user shared: "Before Hallow, my spiritual life was unorganized and reactive. Now, my thoughts and prayers are cohesive because the guidance from the app keeps me on track. If my toddler comes in the room during my quiet time, he doesn't have to leave. He understands quiet time now and loves to listen and pray with me."^6 One user described the app as nothing less than a lifeline: "I went to commit suicide and had a miracle in the confessional. Hallow was there guiding me to this miraculous encounter that healed my depression. It's been my guide to staying focused in my prayer life."^1

Hallow has surpassed 1.35 billion prayers prayed across 150 countries, features voices like Jonathan Roumie (The Chosen), Fr. Mike Schmitz, Bishop Barron, Mark Wahlberg, and Lauren Daigle, and partners with churches, colleges, and ministries nationwide.^7 The app became the first faith-based app to reach Apple's App Store top 10, and has raised $105 million in funding — all as a Public Benefit Corporation.^9
