Lightgliders is a virtual world of Christian faith, games, and community for kids, run as a digital children's ministry by Made to Shine Inc., a 501(c)(3) that receives gifts through a St. Louis post office box.^1 Kids create a character and explore the land of Glideon — playing games, solving puzzles, going on missions, journaling, joining virtual events, and meeting new Bible-based activities each week.^3 The lessons walk through the biblical story of creation, rebellion, redemption, and restoration and point players to Jesus, while weekly prayer activities invite kids to talk with God.^3^4 Parents and group leaders get those lessons, Scriptures, and reflection questions in their inbox so screen time can turn into a conversation at home.^3 Store listings also describe in-game moderation and pre-approved chat phrases.^5 Families can play in a browser on a computer or through the iOS and Android apps; access is subscription-based after a free trial.^4 Co-founder Zach Fay has introduced the ministry on CBN, and with Derek Holser he writes the Lightglider Origins novels that tell how the world's seven leaders first came to Glideon; Bryce and the Lost Pearl and Tambika and the Shield of Wisdom are already available.^7^8
