He and his wife Kristin have been building Plucky full-time for over nine years, driven by a conviction that Christians should care about helping people protect their families — even across borders.^4 The name draws from Matthew 18:9, and the "Why It Works" page openly grounds the tool's philosophy in Scripture, citing Romans 7-8 on the war between flesh and Spirit.^5
