BRAVE+ is the kids' streaming service from BRAVE Books, the Christian children's publisher Dr. Trent Talbot started after leaving ophthalmology to make stories families can trust.^1 Parents curate the catalog and screen out ads, overstimulating pacing, and anything that communicates a worldview contrary to the Bible.^3 The flagship original is Iggy and Mr. Kirk, featuring Kirk Cameron, plus parent-vetted classics and children's audiobooks such as Franklin, Babar, Madeline, Redwall, Strawberry Shortcake, Paddington, Liberty's Kids, and Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?.^4
Access is subscription-based. A Freedom Island Book Club subscription can also unlock the service.^3 The apps are free to download for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku; Samsung TV is not available yet.^3^5 Streaming is currently limited to the United States and its territories, and most shows are aimed at ages 3–12.^3 Families can also watch on the web at watch.braveplus.com after creating a password with the email on the subscription.^3
