Looking for a screen-free way to nurture your kids' faith? WindowSeat is a Christian audio app for kids ages 3 to 14, offering thousands of hours of audio dramas, audiobooks, worship music, bedtime stories, and daily devotionals, all curated with Philippians 4:8 as the standard.^1
Created by These Things, LLC and co-founded by designer Mark Cook of Types & Symbols, WindowSeat launched at MOMCON 2024 as a safe, faith-filled alternative to screen time.^3 The library holds 2,500+ hours of content, including audio dramas, audiobooks, and music from Christian producers such as Your Story Hour, Down Gilead Lane, Seeds Kids Worship, Paws & Tales, Brinkman Adventures, Discovery Mountain, and the Circle C Series, spanning preschoolers to teens.^2^5 Bedtime stories from Twilight Treasures help little ones wind down, and family-friendly podcasts sit alongside the dramas and books.^4
WindowSeat is audio only. There are no videos, no social features, and no ads, just stories, songs, and devotionals designed to spark imagination while keeping kids screen-free.^1 The Word Nerd daily devotional takes about two minutes a day: a chapter of the Bible, a word to learn, and discussion questions families can talk about together.^4 Offline downloads make it a fit for road trips, and a sleep timer helps with bedtime routines.
Families start with a free trial, then subscribe monthly or annually. See the WindowSeat site for current plans.^6
