Ever walk out of church on Sunday and realize by Monday you have already forgotten the sermon? Sermon Keeper is a purpose-built iOS app that lets you record the service, take timestamped notes in the moment, and walk away with an AI-powered transcript and summary, so nothing that spoke to you gets lost.^1
Tap once to start recording. Add notes anytime during the sermon and each one saves the exact timestamp - tap it later to jump straight back to that moment in the audio. After the service, AI transcription turns the full recording into text and pulls out the key points, keeping the preacher's own outline rather than inventing a new one; if a recording contains no sermon, the app says so instead of writing a summary for it.^2 Type a reference like "John 3:16" and the full verse appears in a card. Seven translations are built in and work offline: KJV, NASB 1995, ESV, NKJV, NIV 1984, WEB and Reina-Valera 1909.^1 Snap a photo of your open Bible and Sermon Keeper generates a SOAP study journal entry - Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer - ready to revisit any day, and a newer Scan the Slide feature captures the words on the screen at the front of the room straight into your notes.^2
Built by solo indie developer Artur Subbotkin, Sermon Keeper launched on the App Store in early 2026 and remains under active, regular development.^2 The app is designed for busy churchgoers, Bible study groups, and new believers who want to capture sermon insights without the friction of a general-purpose notes app. No account is required. Notes sync through your own iCloud, and recorded audio is sent to the developer's server only to create the transcript, then deleted.^1 A single setup question sets two gentle reminders each week, one an hour before your service and one midweek recap of that sermon.^2
