Faith Comes By Hearing is a nonprofit ministry founded in 1972 in Albuquerque as Hosanna, a cassette lending library, by Jerry and Anet Jackson.^6 Its statement of faith affirms the Bible as the inspired Word of God, the deity of Jesus Christ, his vicarious death, bodily resurrection, and personal return, and the Holy Spirit in regeneration.^6 The ministry works in partnership to record and freely provide God's Word in every language that needs it.^2
Hosanna is the successor to Bible.is, Faith Comes By Hearing's earlier app. Faith Comes By Hearing told Bible.is users in 2026 that Bible.is will retire later this year and directed them to Hosanna; Bible.is alerted its users in the app, and Hosanna carries the same recordings Bible.is had.^2
Hosanna is completely free, everywhere in the world: no subscriptions, no paywalls, and no third-party ads, and donations are optional.^2 Its privacy policy states that Faith Comes By Hearing does not trade or sell your information to third parties for any reason.^5
