AudioLink is a remote live sound mixing service for churches. A dedicated audio engineer mixes a church's services live, in the room, online, or both, so the congregation hears worship and the sermon clearly wherever they are.^1 The company says it has mixed more than 70,000 services.^1
The church connects AudioLink's RIG to its own mixing console. For an online mix, the RIG is shipped to the church and stays in the room; the engineer connects through it from anywhere in the world and sends the mixed audio directly to the livestream.^1 For an in-room mix, AudioLink's team visits to calibrate the church's sound system, and the engineer then mixes the room live through the RIG, with the audio sent to the PA system with no transmission delay.^1 Churches choose a broadcast mix, an in-room mix, or both together, on a paid weekly subscription.^1
AudioLink's companion app, Pep, gives musicians control of their own in-ear monitor mixes at venues running the service. A musician can type a plain-language request, such as asking for more kick drum in their ears, and Pep applies it to the monitor mix and confirms the change with the real numbers from the board; a fader mode mirrors the console layout for direct control.^3 Pep works only at venues running AudioLink, and the venue's AudioLink contact hands out access keys.^3 The app includes a demo venue with a simulated console, so musicians can try it with no hardware needed.^3
AudioLink is a Texas-based company headquartered in Dallas, providing professional remote audio engineering, mixing, and technical support to churches, ministries, and organizations throughout the United States and internationally.^2 Its client churches include UPPERROOM, Times Square Church, and 2819 Church.^4
Kemi of Epic Church SF put it this way: "The room has never sounded so good."^4 Whitley of LifeChurch said, "I think that it's been a game changer for our church."^4
