MessengerX is a free discipleship library from Messenger International, the ministry John and Lisa Bevere founded in 1990.^1 The app gathers courses, ebooks, audiobooks, short films, and daily teachings meant to help people grow in Scripture and live with purpose.^1
MessengerX Daily offers short teachings for ordinary days with God.^1 The library covers prayer, family life, freedom from pornography, relationships, and leadership, with messages the ministry describes as uncompromisingly biblical.^1 John and Lisa Bevere teach on the app, alongside courses such as Called, Moms of Men, and Words with God.^1 A Foundations course gives new believers a starting path in the library.^5
The ministry behind the app exists to develop uncompromising followers of Christ who transform their world.^2 Because that mandate goes beyond the English-speaking world, Messenger International translates discipleship resources and delivers them both physically and digitally.^2 Leaders such as Pastor Yassir in Cuba describe MessengerX as a tool both to feed his people and to teach them to fish.^2 MessengerX is powered by Messenger International and funded entirely by donations, and the homepage reports use in 240+ countries with support for over 140 languages.^1 The app is on iOS, Android, and the web, free rather than subscription-based.^1
Readers on the MessengerX homepage put the appeal plainly:
"I've had a lot of resources for Christian faith and growth, but none of them are like this. This is absolutely game changing stuff if you want your faith to grow get this app and pray." - Peteboy16^1
"If you are new to the resources contained, they are some of the highest quality, scripturally sound and challenging content you will encounter. What I appreciated even more is they are organized well and no-cost." - jeweston^1
