Perspective Cards is Cru's card-based evangelism tool for talking about worldview before sharing the gospel.^1 Barry Warren, a Cru staff member, asked God for a new approach while walking home in Puebla, Mexico. The result is a deck that invites listening instead of a one-way presentation.^2
The physical set has 54 cards.^3 You spread them across five topics — the nature of God, human nature, the meaning and purpose of life, the identity of Jesus, and the source of spiritual truth — and ask the other person to choose the card that best matches what they believe, then explain why.^4 After they have spoken, you can share the Christian view and the good news.^2 A Seeker's Prayer card lets someone who is not ready to commit ask God, if He is real, to help them see the truth.^2
A free iPhone and Android app reproduces the conversation on a phone.^5 Cru still sells the physical cards, a Spanish edition, and large banners for campus events.^4 Cru students at Rice University have used the cards for outreach,^8 and Cru's discipleship lessons include how to use them.^9 Cru, formerly Campus Crusade for Christ, is an interdenominational ministry.^10
