ActiveChristianity is a free web library published by Brunstad Christian Church through Hidden Treasures Publishers (Stiftelsen Skjulte Skatters Forlag). It gathers articles, testimonies, videos, theme pages, playlists, wallpapers, and the Living the Gospel podcast for readers who want Scripture to shape ordinary life, not only Sunday belief.^1 Theme collections organize the library around prayer, anxiety, self-image, temptation, disciple life, and the cross.^1
The about page confesses faith in the Almighty God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, and treats the Bible as the sole basis of faith, with forgiveness of sins, baptism, and the Lord's Supper as fundamental. It teaches that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, raised from the dead, and tempted as we are yet without sin, so believers can seek victory over conscious sin and a life of sanctification.^3
Brunstad Christian Church originated in Norway in 1898.^4 BCC says its beliefs are further based on the Christian teachings of its founder, Johan Oscar Smith, that it confesses the triune God, and that believers are justified by grace through faith in Jesus' atonement, not by their own works.^5 Hidden Treasures Publishers was established in 1912, and its site offers a companion literature portal.^5 Sister sites serve African readers in English, French, Chichewa, and Swahili.^7^9 The library is free to read, with no subscription or account required.^1
