MemoryVerses was born out of a husband-and-wife challenge. When his wife committed to memorizing one verse a week, founder Ryan Brown noticed the transformation in her life and built a tool to help himself and others keep up — memorizing in one week what had taken her eight.^2 Ryan is the Pastor of Discipleship at Perimeter Church, a PCA congregation in Johns Creek, Georgia, and serves as Executive Director of Life on Life Ministries, a global discipleship-training ministry rooted in Perimeter Church's 40+ year heritage of relational discipleship.^5 He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and Covenant Theological Seminary (the PCA's denominational seminary), a teaching elder in the PCA, and an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation.^5
