MemoryVerses was born out of a husband-and-wife challenge. When his wife committed to memorizing one verse a week, founder Ryan Brown noticed the transformation in her life and built a tool to help himself and others keep up — memorizing in one week what had taken her eight.^4 Ryan is the Pastor of Discipleship at Perimeter Church, a PCA congregation in Johns Creek, Georgia, and serves as Executive Director of Life on Life Ministries, a global discipleship-training ministry rooted in Perimeter Church's 40+ year heritage of relational discipleship.^5 He holds a degree from Covenant Theological Seminary (the PCA's denominational seminary) and brings the same passion for God's Word to his pastoring, his global training work, and the platform.^6
