Spark Bible

Heads up! This app uses generative AI in some way, shape, or form. Please use wisdom and discernment when using any AI features.

You open a chapter and wish a trusted teacher would sit beside the text. SparkBible was built for that gap: it embeds publicly available video teaching from seminaries, churches, and ministries next to the passage you are reading, for every chapter of the Bible.^1

The free, ad-free core keeps daily reading, chapter videos, notes, highlights, and bookmarks in one place. Voices you may already know — John Piper, Tim Keller, N.T. Wright, Jen Wilkin, Francis Chan, Tony Evans, Jackie Hill Perry, BibleProject, The Gospel Coalition, and others — stay with the text instead of in another tab.^3 Eleven English translations are available, including NIV, ESV, KJV, and NRSV.^3

Stephen Blankenship built SparkBible so people who already treasure Scripture can also understand it.^4 Optional SparkBible Plus adds AI-powered study insights and Bible Search, Greek and Hebrew interlinear tools, a concordance, and structured video courses. Live testing of those AI features was out of scope for this review.^3

SparkBible is a companion for personal devotion and church study groups: read the chapter, then go deeper without leaving the page.^1
