When emotions run high and the words won't come, Prayer Library meets you right where you are. This free mobile app helps Christians find written prayers and Scripture passages that speak directly to what they're feeling — whether that's joy, grief, anxiety, or anything in between.^1
Browse by emotion using emojis or type in how you're feeling, and Prayer Library surfaces relevant prayers paired with Bible verses. You can build custom prayer lists for specific situations, add personal notes to prayers you return to, and set a daily check-in reminder to keep your focus anchored in Scripture. With over 200 prayers to explore and new ones being added, there's always something fresh to discover.^2
Created by Lucas Hintz Marins — a software engineer based in British Columbia, Canada, and a graduate of Youth for Christ's LifeTeams program — Prayer Library grew out of a personal conviction: that sometimes we need to lean on the words of others to remember God's truth for us. What started as a school capstone project in 2023 has become an actively maintained, donation-supported app with no ads and no paywalls.^3
Why Christians Love It"Really helpful app, especially when you just have a moment, it's easy to use and assists in choosing a prayer or words to say when you don't have them. Also excellent if you are a parent and only have one hand free and one minute." — Rachel^1
"An app that focuses on prayer and continues to improve." — Jon^1
