Finding quality discipleship curriculum that works for every age — preschool through adults — and doesn't blow the budget is a real challenge for churches. Bible Engagement Project (BEP) was built to solve exactly that, offering a completely free, age-aligned digital curriculum library designed to anchor your entire congregation in Scripture together.^1

Created by the Assemblies of God and published through My Healthy Church, BEP launched in August 2020 after AG General Superintendent Doug Clay grew concerned about biblical engagement within the Fellowship. A Barna Group survey confirmed the need: many adherents lacked a biblical worldview.^2 The curriculum follows a cohesive scope and sequence across four age levels, so everyone — from toddlers to adults — studies the same truths at the same time. Three years of core curriculum (Listen, Learn, and Live) are available now, with a fourth year (Lead) releasing January 2026.^3 Each lesson comes with over 600 videos, handouts, slides, and family devotions that empower parents to continue faith conversations at home.^1

Originally subscription-based, BEP became free in August 2023 after leadership sensed God's leading to remove the financial barrier. The results have been remarkable: weekly users grew from 20,000 to over 700,000, and the number of churches using it jumped from around 700 to nearly 29,000 — including 87% of AG churches. People from 176 countries have engaged the curriculum, and it's now available in both English and Spanish, with plans to translate into 10 major languages by 2033.^3

Why Christians Love It

"I love how easy this app is to use, but more importantly how much we are learning as a family together. My elementary kid, my teens and my young adult all are learning together."^4

"This is a powerful tool fully loaded for Christians to develop their faith and grow."^4

"Our church loves that all our students are learning the same truths at the same time. Kids are bringing their Bibles to church, they're excited to get into God's Word, and they're memorizing faith verses."^2
