If you're a designer carrying the weight of deadlines, creative blocks, or career uncertainty, Prayer for Designers exists to lift you up in prayer — no strings attached.^1
Founded by Brian White, an award-winning brand and UI designer with over 20 years of experience, Prayer for Designers is a faith-driven community where creative professionals find spiritual support and genuine fellowship.^2 At its core is a confidential prayer request form — submit what's on your heart, and a small group of Bible-believing designers will bring it before God.^1
Beyond prayer, the community thrives on a Slack workspace with around 225 members from the US and abroad.^3 Channels cover everything from prayer requests and Scripture memory to job postings, works-in-progress critique, and even gender-specific accountability groups for men and women.^4 The group also hosts virtual Bible studies (running for over five years on Zoom), share-and-prayer lunches via Google Meet, and sponsors a child through Compassion International together.^4
Members create custom Bible verse designs for social media, turning Scripture into visual art that can be shared across platforms.^5 The community has maintained an annual presence at the Creative South design conference, connecting with fellow creatives in person.^6
Theologically, Prayer for Designers stands on the Nicene Creed, embracing historic Christian orthodoxy.^7 Their posture is welcoming — even if you don't believe in God, they want to pray for you.^1
