The Word on Fire Institute invites Catholics to pray, learn, gather, and evangelize with Bishop Robert Barron and a team of professors and fellows.^1 Word on Fire Catholic Ministries is a registered 501(c)(3) that proclaims Jesus Christ and uses the Church's art, theology, and the lives of the saints to interpret the Gospel for the culture.^1
Members receive 55+ courses and films in nine categories, monthly live seminars with Q&A, fifteen expert-led Evangelical Charism Communities, professional certificates, and Bishop Barron's feature-length films and study programs—on the web and in iOS and Android apps.^1 A quarterly print journal, Evangelization & Culture, arrives four times a year, with digital access to prior issues.^1 Communities include writing with Dr. Holly Ordway and theology for evangelists with Dr. Richard DeClue.^1
Dr. Matthew Petrusek serves as Senior Director.^1 Members may also pursue The Catholic University of America's Master of Arts in Evangelization and Culture, a 33-credit hybrid degree taught live online with a summer residency in Washington, D.C.^4 Membership is subscription-based after a free trial.^1
