Ever find yourself reading the Bible but wishing you could pause and ask someone what a passage really means? Biblify.ai is a web-based Bible reading companion that uses artificial intelligence to give you verse-by-verse explanations and answer your questions as you read.^1
The experience is simple: open any book and chapter, click on a verse, and choose "Explain" for a contextual breakdown or "Question" to pose your own question about the passage.^2 You can also pin your favorite verses to shareable walls, bookmark where you left off, and track your reading progress over time.^1
Built by Luke Mueller, a software engineer and the founder/owner of Biblify.ai, the project grew out of his own desire for deeper understanding while reading Scripture. He puts it plainly: "Growing in my faith and helping others grow in their faith is the ultimate goal and also my reason for developing Biblify.ai."^3 Mueller, who studied at Concordia University-Wisconsin and is based in Liberty Hill, Texas, describes the tool as "created with and tested by pastors and theologians," grounding the AI responses in trusted theological input.^1 Since launching in mid-2025 with zero marketing budget, the app has grown organically — gaining roughly one new user per day, many from outside the United States.^4
