Built by Pharah LLC and founded by Gideon Mackay — who started the project as an SMU computer science assignment that didn't score well but refused to let the idea die — Ascend was created for people overwhelmed by the Bible's 1,200 pages and intimidated by studies that assumed years of background knowledge.
