Prayse is a free prayer journal app that helps you organize requests, set reminders, and stay in a daily habit of talking to God.^1 It is built for believers who do not want a prayer request they promised to cover to get lost in a notes app or a text thread.^1
You can organize prayers into folders and categories, filter the list, and walk through each request in a dedicated Prayer Room, marking prayers as answered as you go.^3 A prayer list can now be shared with a code or QR code, so friends can pray through the same requests with you.^2 Prayse also lets you journal your thoughts, read a daily Bible verse, follow daily devotionals from community contributors, and track prayer and devotional streaks.^1 A Community section lets you create or join prayer groups, and a Questions section opens biblical discussion with other believers.^3 Prayse is free to download on iOS and Android, with an optional Prayse Pro subscription.^2
Sahag Arzoumanian started building Prayse in the summer of 2022, as a Computer Science student, after noticing at a Bible study at New Life Church how hard it was to keep track of prayer requests.^4 The first version launched on the App Store and Google Play within weeks, and the About page says Prayse has since reached thousands of believers.^4 Arzoumanian still leads the work, alongside social media manager Adriana Mora, and the app codebase is public on GitHub.^4 In his own words on the About page: "The main drive behind the work I do for Prayse is seeing people develop a healthier, more consistent prayer life with God."^4
