The Wild at Heart app is a free home for daily readings, guided prayers, blogs, and podcasts from John and Stasi Eldredge's ministry.^1
Inside are daily readings and prayers, blogs, and audio selections from the ministry library, plus two ongoing shows: the Wild at Heart podcast with John and Captivated with Stasi.^1^6 Groups with messaging enabled can create and share events in the app, and group managers can take attendance on those events.^1
John Eldredge, a counselor and teacher, launched Wild at Heart in 2000 and serves as its president; he and Stasi live in Colorado Springs.^4 The ministry exists to help people discover the heart of God, recover their own hearts in God's love, and learn to live in God's Kingdom, and its mission is to enable people to recover their true identity and to live wholeheartedly from it.^4 On their About page they confess the Bible as the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God, and they confess the Trinity and the deity, virgin birth, atoning death, and bodily resurrection of Jesus.^3
Beyond the app, the ministry runs Fires, small recurring gatherings for men, and Captivating Fires for women, along with men's and women's retreats and multi-session video courses.^7 The app is available on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Android phones and tablets, in English, French, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish.^1
