The Launcher by Nucleus is a free website plugin that gathers a church's next steps, prayer requests, giving, baptism registration, first-time visits, volunteer signups, events, and small groups, into one Central Hub that stays on every page.^1 Churches can install it on virtually any website builder that supports custom code, not only Nucleus-built sites, and customize the color, icon, logo, button, and introductory message to match their church.^1
A floating button opens the hub from any page. Direct and trigger links let a church point people to the hub or to one action from email, social posts, QR codes, or a live announcement, so it can also serve as a link-in-bio.^1 People open it in a browser, with no separate church app to install, and can add it to a phone's home screen.^1 Each action can open a Nucleus experience, such as Flows, Giving, or Prayer, or send people to an outside destination.^1 The same installation code also supports Banners for alerts and Info Cards that give a next step more context.^1
Brady Shearer is the creator and director of Pro Church Tools, which he started more than 10 years ago; today the company is a team of 20 or more full-time creatives dedicated to helping churches navigate what he calls the biggest communication shift in 500 years.^4 In a talk on church website homepages, Shearer described the Launcher this way: "This is a free website plugin we've built for churches," adding that it places "every important next step in your church on every single page of your site."^5 Nucleus itself is independently owned and bootstrapped, with no outside investors directing its decisions.^6
