Founded by Manuel Di Criscito, a software developer and worship musician from Lombardy, Italy, PraiseTune was born out of five years of personal prayer and frustration with the disorder that steals space from worship. Manuel plays piano and sings in his local church, and he built PraiseTune so other musicians could have the simplicity he wished he'd had — lyrics and chords organized, transposable in one tap, and shared across the whole team without needing Wi-Fi.^2
What It DoesAt its core, PraiseTune gives worship teams a shared song library with dynamic key transposition, a built-in metronome, a virtual capo, and an editor for writing original songs. Smart search finds songs by title, artist, or lyrics, even with typos. A built-in pad lets musicians play their own sounds underneath the worship, with loop points for each note. Setlists sync across devices, and when a worship leader opens a song, it opens on every team member's device — no fumbling through paper binders mid-service.^1 The app imports PDF songbooks and ChordPro files, imports songs from HolyChords, exports to PDF, and offers a public song library browsable on the web.^1
