Zaia (the name means "light") is a free Christian social network for believers who want to share their spiritual journey, connect with other Christians, and read Scripture in the same place.^1 It exists to bring together 2.6 billion Christians across 46 thousand denominations and rites, taking its reason for being from Jesus' prayer for unity in John 17:23 (NLT).^1

Zaia was founded through Zaia Ventures, led by founder and CEO Ukonwa Ojo.^5 Ojo built a 27-year career in marketing leadership, including as Global Chief Marketing Officer at Amazon Prime Video and Studios, before founding the studio to build businesses for underrepresented communities.^5 In a published interview she described Zaia as "a social network on a mission to unite 2.6 Billion Christians worldwide" and said, "We launched last year on both the App Store and Google Play store and are very excited about the early momentum."^5 She has also said, "I simply wouldn't be where I am without God's favor on my life. I have been a Christian my whole life and He has been a part of every major decision I have ever made."^5
The terms describe a community united by the confession that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, treat the Bible as the infallible, inerrant, inspired word of God, and say salvation is offered freely to all who accept him.^6 A CSAE policy on the site, last updated March 17, 2025, states zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation.^7
