YourBible is a free Bible app from GOOD NEWS for Everyone!, the UK charity formerly known as GideonsUK. It is built for people who want to open Scripture without already knowing the books, the chapters, or the language of church.^1^4
The site invites a reader with a simple line: The Bible is for your brother, neighbour, teacher, friend, and enemy. Series gather themes and stories so someone new can jump straight in. Helps point to verses for emotions and hard situations. Notes sit in the text and explain unfamiliar words and phrases as you go.^1
scout+redeem worked with the charity on the app. Their case study says most Bible apps were designed for people already familiar with the Bible's structure, so YourBible was made to break down that structure for newcomers, simplify navigation, and connect ancient text to contemporary life.^3 The app now also offers a French Bible, added in the September 2026 update.^4
GOOD NEWS for Everyone! are men and women who love Jesus and want others to know Him. They still place Scripture in hotels, schools, prisons, and hospitals after more than seventy years of that work in the UK.^2 YOURBIBLE. is listed as The Bible for Everyone and is free on iPhone, iPad, and Android.^4
