Switchboard is a digital missions platform from Tentmakers Network that connects everyday believers, Gospel workers, and missions leaders so followers of Jesus can take part in the Great Commission from where they already are.^1
The site is organized around three roles. Everyday believers can take a Skill Assessment and get matched to virtual opportunities that fit their skills, gifts, and experience.^3 Gospel workers can request skilled help and invite supporters into Prayer Circles for ongoing prayer, updates, and practical support.^5 Missions leaders can use the Ministry Expansion Kit and Virtual Missions Kit to involve more of a church or organization without travel.^7
Tentmakers began asking how to connect the global church with field needs in 2021; the public platform launched in 2023.^2 Everyone on the platform affirms a statement of faith built on the Apostles' Creed — the triune God revealed in Scripture and the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus.^6
Gospel workers and ministries use the connection service at no charge. Switchboard is sustained by donor support and optional church and organization subscriptions.^2 The Skill Assessment page lists partners including Christar, Pioneers, Cru, Lausanne, Missio Nexus, and the Colson Center.^3
