Founded by Jake Carlson — a missionary kid who grew up in China, Colson Fellow, and digital product leader with 25+ years of experience at Oracle and Apple — The Apologist Project has grown into a team of over a dozen volunteers with leadership from former Meta engineer Christine Abernathy and Steve Verleye, former COO of the Colson Center for Christian Worldview.^4
