Looking for a cartoon your kids can watch that actually teaches Scripture? The Garden! is a Christ-centered animated series where Lenny the Lion and Lucy the Lamb go on adventures inside a magical garden where anything can grow — learning Bible stories and singing original songs along the way.^1

Created by Butch Hartman — the award-winning animator behind Nickelodeon's The Fairly OddParents and Danny Phantom — The Garden was born from a vision he had in 2005 after becoming a Christian in 2000.^2 He and his wife Julieann self-funded the first seven episodes before eventually producing dozens more, now streaming free on the app and available on Angel, Apple TV, Prime Video, and more.^3 The companion app includes episodes, games, original songs, and Bible-teaching curriculum — all in a safe, ad-free environment designed for ages 4 and up.^1

The Hartmans also published The Garden Children's Bible through HarperCollins, featuring the series' characters across more than 100 stories and 200 illustrations, launched at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C.^3 A feature-length movie, The Greatest Thing Ever, debuted in 2025.^5 For the youngest viewers, Garden Sprouts offers 3D content for ages 0-3, along with sensory dance parties and Scripture-based lullabies on YouTube.^4
